To achieve this, Lilith teams up with a ragtag crew that includes Roland, a mercenary seeking redemption; Tiny Tina, a young explosives expert; Krieg, her protective muscle; Dr. Tannis, an eccentric scientist; and Claptrap, a wisecracking robot.
Their journey is filled with action and humor as they battle monsters and bandits, all while trying to uncover secrets linked to a legendary vault that could hold unimaginable power.
The film’s cast features Cate Blanchett as Lilith, Kevin Hart as Roland, Jack Black as the voice of Claptrap, and Jamie Lee Curtis as Dr. Tannis. Despite an all-star lineup, the movie underwent significant production challenges, including reshoots by Deadpool director Tim Miller.
Initially, the script involved The Last of Us creator Craig Mazin, though he later removed his name from the project.
The movie aims to be the first installment in a “Borderlands Cinematic Universe,” offering a unique storyline while drawing on elements from the game series
